Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist
Professionally qualified mental health nurse and psychological therapist with over 25 years experience of working within the NHS and ten years of private practice. Accomplished in all areas relating to the provision of treatment and supervision of CBT and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).
David is accredited with the BABCP as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and clinical supervisor, following gaining an MSc in 2002. He is also an EMDR Consultant with EMDR Association UK & Ireland. He works with adults experiencing a wide range of difficulties including generalised anxiety, panic, stress, depression, OCD, phobias, social anxiety, health anxiety and PTSD. David is particularly experienced in working with traumatic stress, from road traffic accidents or assault to working with forces veterans having experienced combat trauma. He has also worked in general hospitals with the psychological effects of physical illness.
He currently works for the NHS as a Clinical Lead for Veterans Mental Health Services and the AWP Traumatic Stress Service. His previous posts include Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist for the South Wales Fire & Rescue Service.
David has been providing CBT and EMDR clinical supervision for mental health professionals for sevaral years. In addition to clinical work he has also been a visiting lecturer at the University of West for England, Cardiff University and Mid Glamorgan University.
David is a recognised CBT practitioner for Bupa and Aviva.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapist
Emma is a professionally qualified mental health nurse and Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience working within the NHS.
Emma is a BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist. She is able to provide CBT for people experiencing depression and a wide range of anxiety disorders including specific phobias, PTSD, panic disorder, stress, OCD, social anxiety and health anxiety. Emma is particularly experienced in working with the psychological effects of physical illness.
In addition to her private practice work, Emma is currently employed by the NHS as a clinical nurse specialist. She is currently undergoing training in EMDR
CBT and EMDR Practitioner
Claire is a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) and has worked in the NHS for the last 28 years, working currently as a Veterans' Psychological Therapist and Independent Nurse Prescriber.
She has extensive experience working with all ages with a wide variety of mental health difficulties using CBT since 1999. Claire has an accredited masters level diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) from Exeter University and is an accredited BABCP practitioner
She undertakes regular supervision with an accredited supervisor, as well as undergoing an annual criminal record bureau (CRB) check. In addition, Claire is also an Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) practitioner with full membership of the UK & Ireland EMDR association.

Occupational Therapy and CBT
Rosemarie qualified as an occupational therapist in 1995 and is registered with the Health Professions Council. She completed her training in cognitive behavioural therapy at Birmingham University in 2009.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapist
Emily graduated from Swansea University with a degree in Psychology in 2002, and went on to complete a masters in Health Psychology in Bristol. She has worked within NHS services for a number of years with people who experience a broad range of psychological difficulties.
In 2015 Emily undertook further study at the University of Oxford and gained her Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
Emily is experienced in working with young people and adults who have mild to moderate difficulties with their mental health including depression and anxiety disorders such as OCD, health anxiety, social anxiety, phobias, panic, PTSD and substance misuse.
In addition to her CBT training, Emily has specific skills in short term CBT interventions and is familiar with working within a 6 session model for those who are experiencing milder difficulties and distress.
Alongside, her private practice, Emily works full time as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist in Bristol for the charity ‘Off the Record’.
Emily holds an enhanced DBS check, is a member of the BABCP and is insured with Balens Specialist Insurance Brokers.
